By accessing and using the website lorenzocristofori.com ("the Site") you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the Site. We reserve the right to modify them at any time; changes take effect upon publication on the Site.

The Site is the personal portfolio of Lorenzo Cristofori, provided free of charge for informational and professional presentation purposes. It includes a contact form and an AI assistant that answers questions about the professional profile.

We reserve the right, at our discretion and without notice, to modify, suspend or discontinue the Site or individual features for technical, security, legal or organisational reasons, without being liable to the user or third parties.

The Site relies on third-party providers (in particular Cloudflare for hosting and security, and OpenRouter for the AI assistant); we are not responsible for interruptions, delays or malfunctions attributable to such providers.

The Site is not updated on a regular basis and does not constitute an editorial product within the meaning of Italian Law no. 62 of 7 March 2001.

You agree to use the Site solely for lawful purposes and in a way that does not infringe the rights of third parties. In particular, it is forbidden to:

attempt unauthorised access to the Site's systems or data;

collect data through scraping or other automated methods;

overload the Site's infrastructure through massive automated requests, Denial of Service (DoS) attacks or practices that may compromise its availability;

transmit malware, viruses or harmful code;

send spam or unsolicited communications through the contact form or the AI assistant.

The Site provides an assistant based on artificial intelligence that gives automatically generated answers. Such answers may contain inaccurate or incomplete information, do not constitute professional advice and are not legally binding.

The messages you send to the assistant are transmitted to OpenRouter and to the AI model provider in order to generate the reply. Please do not enter personal or sensitive data in the chat.

Any feedback, suggestion or improvement proposal you send us may be freely used, implemented or distributed without any obligation of compensation, attribution or confidentiality towards you.

The name, logo, design, texts, original images, code and all other distinctive elements of the Site are the exclusive property of Lorenzo Cristofori and are protected by Italian and European copyright and trademark laws.

Reproduction, distribution, modification, publication or commercial use of such elements without written authorisation is prohibited. Any third-party content remains the property of its respective owners.

The contents of the Site are provided "as is", without warranties of any kind as to accuracy, completeness or timeliness.

The Owner shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from the use of, or inability to use, the Site.

Liability for wilful misconduct, gross negligence and all cases where the law does not allow its limitation remains unaffected, as do the mandatory rights of consumer users under Legislative Decree 206/2005 (Italian Consumer Code).

The user undertakes to hold the Owner harmless from any claim, demand, action, damage, cost or expense (including reasonable legal fees) brought by third parties as a result of the user's breach of these Terms, applicable law or third-party rights. The application of mandatory consumer protection rules remains unaffected.

The Site may contain links to third-party websites, provided for informational purposes and without any endorsement of their content. We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of linked sites.

The processing of your personal data is governed by the Privacy Policy, available on the dedicated page. By using the Site you consent to the processing of data as described therein.

These Terms are governed by Italian law. For users qualifying as consumers under Legislative Decree 206/2005, the court of the consumer's place of residence or elected domicile has exclusive jurisdiction.

Should one or more provisions of these Terms be declared invalid or ineffective, the remaining provisions will continue to be fully valid. The Owner's failure to exercise a right does not constitute a waiver thereof.
